Arcadis in the UK is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join the Places Design Practice. Based in the UK, you’ll contribute to the design and coordination of structures on a range of projects and gain experience across sectors.

You’ll develop technical skills, undertake site visits, and collaborate with BIM modellers while pursuing graduate membership with IStructE or ICE. We value teamwork, safety, and a commitment to sustainable, high‑quality design.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree required for entry into the structural engineering field.
• Graduate membership of IStructE or ICE or willingness to join as a graduate.
• Eligibility to obtain SC security clearance.
• Solid understanding of structural materials and basic design concepts.
• Familiarity with modelling methods used in structural analysis and design software.

Responsibilities

• Support design and coordination of structures on varied projects.
• Carry out design tasks and site visits within the UK and abroad if needed.
• Collaborate with BIM modellers and other disciplines.
• Develop professional skills towards chartership with guidance from mentors.
