Job summary

Enable Strategic Consulting is seeking a Junior Consultant - Strategy & Growth to work on real client challenges from day one, collaborating with experienced consultants and client teams across high-value competitions.

You’ll engage in market research, pricing, competitive intelligence and bid strategy, developing recommendations and increasingly taking ownership of client outputs and outcomes. The role is hybrid with UK travel.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in economics, mathematics, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical capability and comfort with uncertainty.
• Understanding of pricing, commercial analysis and benchmarking.
• Experience or knowledge of business-winning methodologies.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to relate price, quality, risk and value.
• Confidence to challenge assumptions when evidence is lacking.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly and simply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with clients and diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with Python, R or similar is advantageous; interest in AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Position to Win strategies across major and complex competitions.
• Research markets, customers and competitors and convert insights into recommendations.
• Develop competitive analysis and customer insight for bid, capture and growth strategies.
• Build and refine pricing models, scenarios and assumptions.
• Assess price, quality, customer priorities and competitor behaviour.
• Develop commercial and non-price strategies to strengthen client propositions.
• Contribute to client discovery sessions, workshops and strategy discussions.
• Challenge assumptions, test hypotheses and ensure evidence-based recommendations.
• Support bid/no-bid and strategic decisions by identifying risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with capture, bid, commercial and technical teams.
• Apply economic, analytical and commercial thinking to real-world challenges.
• Explore how AI, data and digital solutions can improve decision-making and business-winning.
• Help develop Enable’s tools, IP and AI-enabled platforms.
• Contribute to business development and growth of Enable.
