Pennyhill Park in Bagshot, Surrey, invites applications for a Junior Sous Chef at Themis Restaurant, our spa dining venue. You will support the Head Chef, mentor kitchen staff, and contribute to menu development and food quality in a renowned luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in quality hotel/restaurant/spa.
• Strong culinary skills with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Experience supervising and developing junior team members.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef in smooth operation of Themis kitchen.
• Assist in curating and developing seasonal menus for spa dining concept.
• Ensure dishes meet highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Lead and develop kitchen team in Head Chef's absence.
• Train and coach team members to foster learning and continuous improvement.
• Maintain standards across Themis food offering and compliance with HACCP.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste minimization.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
