Job summary

wagamama is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our full‑time kitchen team in Glasgow. You’ll support leading shifts and the entire kitchen crew, ensuring every dish is prepared with care and to spec.

You will help maintain excellent food quality and a vibrant kitchen mood, while coaching and developing your colleagues on the floor. As a junior leader, you’ll plan shifts, manage line coverage, and work closely with management on cost awareness, health and safety standards, and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a kitchen team and managing shifts.
• Understanding food safety standards and cost awareness.
• Ability to coach the team and help individuals grow.
• Strong collaboration with management.
