Job summary

wagamama is hiring a junior sous chef to support leading shifts in a busy kitchen, ensuring every bowl is made to order and of consistent quality. You will work closely with the management team to keep food quality and kitchen vibes sky-high.

You will help coach and develop the kitchen team, plan shifts for adequate cover, and apply a Kaizen mindset to everyday improvements and cost awareness.

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting your team and maintaining high standards.
• Able to manage the line, plan shifts, and coach on the go.
• Understand food safety standards and kitchen finances including gross profit, stock and labour cost.
• Celebrate team success and recognise individual needs.
