Ardent Pub Group is seeking a Junior Sous Chef for The George in Fitzrovia to deliver consistently high-quality, innovative dishes under the guidance of the senior kitchen team. You will help manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensure food quality, presentation and service meet our standards, and support a busy pub environment.

The role requires previous experience in a similar kitchen, a passion for seasonal produce, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a similar high-quality restaurant or pub kitchen role.
• Strong understanding of current food trends and seasonal produce.
• Creative, detail-focused approach to cooking and plating.
• Proven ability to support, train and motivate a kitchen team.
• Solid working knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene and compliance procedures.
