BVC Group is seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join its leadership team for a two-floor space serving classic French cuisine in a welcoming setting from morning to night.

You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to uphold outstanding food quality, manage daily kitchen operations, mentor staff, and maintain top hygiene standards while driving cost control and a dynamic team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Experience managing fast-paced, high-volume cooking environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service.
• Inspire and guide the kitchen brigade, fostering high morale and professional growth.
• Collaborate on menu planning, ensure recipe adherence and food quality control.
• Ensure dishes are presented exceptionally and meet high guest expectations.
• Uphold health and safety standards; train staff on best practices.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste minimisation to support budgets.
