The Botanist Bournemouth, part of The New World Trading Company, is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the kitchen leadership team and uphold high standards. You will contribute to exceptional food experiences for every guest and help foster a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.

You’ll work with colleagues to maintain teamwork, consistency and ongoing development across each service, ensuring food safety and best practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience at Chef de Partie level or higher is desirable.
• Experience supporting kitchen leadership and teamwork.
• Commitment to high quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Deliver high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
• Support food safety, allergen and compliance standards.
• Assist with stock management and kitchen organisation.
• Support and motivate junior kitchen team members.
• Help deliver smooth and successful services.
