Job summary

The Hand and Flowers in Marlow, part of the Tom Kerridge Group, is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in a fast-paced, Michelin-starred kitchen. You will help lead the team, ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Ensuring all food and products are consistently prepared and served to our high standards, including portioning, cooking and presentation.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food quality, consistency and service.
• Ensuring correct purchasing, receiving and food storage procedures are followed.
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Following all health & safety procedures and ensuring a safe working environment.

The Role

As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll play an important role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You’ll help lead the team, maintain our exceptionally high standards and ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets our expectations.
