Iconic Hotels & Resorts in London is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen teams at 11 Cadogan Gardens and The Chelsea Townhouse, part of Relais & Châteaux properties. You will support service, help train the brigade and uphold the highest standards of food quality and consistency.

You will work across two prestigious properties, contribute to a dynamic service, and enjoy competitive benefits including team meals and exclusive rates.

• Assist the Head Chef during service for timing and progression of all dishes.
• Train, induct and develop the kitchen brigade while maintaining high standards of preparation and presentation.
• Report Kitchen issues to the Head Chef with integrity (staff, Health & Safety, equipment).
• Ensure Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance at all times.
• Collaborate with the F&B team to maintain strong interdepartmental relationships.

What will you be doing?

You will be a natural teamplayer able to deal with the pressure of running in a busy operation in both 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse who enjoys sharing knowledge and passion about food.

Below are some of the duties and responsibilities of a Junior Sous Chef:

• To assist the Head Chef during service for timing and progress of all dishes, showing ownership and responsibility for the Kitchen operation in the absence of the HOD.
• To be passionate in assist with the training, induction and development of the kitchen brigade and beconfident in ensuring that in the preparation and presentation of food, the highest standards are maintained at all times.
• To keep the Head Chef appraised of any problems within the Kitchen using your integrity. These would include staff, Health & Safety, equipment, and any other areas connected with the Kitchen organisation.
• To be confident in all policies and procedures relevant to Health and Safety and Food safety Standards ensuring the compliance of the latter at all times.
• You will be a teamworker, willing to assist your colleagues when required and working with the F&B team to ensure a smooth interdepartmental relationship is maintained at all times.
