The Role
Do you thrive in a fast-paced, fresh food kitchen? Ready to take the next step up and support leading a talented team? We’re looking for a confident and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our brand-new El Gato Negro restaurant in the heart of Liverpool’s Castle Street.
You’ll work alongside a dedicated brigade in a high-quality, modern Spanish kitchen, where fresh ingredients and teamwork are the core of everything we do.
In this role, you’ll be a key member of our leadership team, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You’ll help manage service, mentor junior chefs, and uphold high standards of food quality and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
You’ll step up when the Head Chef is away, helping to ensure service runs smoothly and the team remains well-organised and motivated.
