Job summary

Reed Technology in London is hiring a Junior Software & Systems Developer for a hybrid role. You will learn the technical support environment, enhance internal systems, automation, and AI capabilities, and contribute to diagnostics tools improving efficiency and customer experience.

Working with the Senior Developer, you’ll gain hands-on development experience across APIs, websites, and integrations, gradually taking on more ownership as you grow technically.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (PHP, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, Java).
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• An understanding of APIs and how different systems communicate.
• Good general IT and technology knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for learning unfamiliar technologies.
• Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Detail-focused with a commitment to producing accurate work.
• Motivated, proactive, and dependable.
• Adaptable and comfortable working across development, systems, and technical tasks.
• Good communication skills, comfortable working with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

A technology-led business, continually developing their internal systems, websites, automation, AI capabilities, and diagnostic tools to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
