Back TO Work is seeking a Junior Smart Technology Technician in South Yorkshire to support the implementation, maintenance and development of connected technologies across the business. You'll work with experienced engineers and IT professionals to gain hands-on experience with automation systems, IoT devices and digital manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration and maintenance of smart devices and connected systems.
• Support automated manufacturing equipment and monitoring technologies.
• Help collect, analyse and report operational data from smart systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
• Support system upgrades, testing and implementation projects.
• Monitor the performance of connected devices and identify potential improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and technical documentation.
• Work with production, engineering, and IT teams to support business operations.
• Assist in implementing new technologies designed to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Follow health, safety, and cyber security procedures at all times.
