A leading NHS trust located in London is seeking a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to provide exceptional clinical leadership in pediatric nursing. To provide clinical leadership to a designated nursing team, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of individualised family-centred care to children and their families in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team. Ensure that evidence-based practice is always performed, taking responsibility for updating own knowledge and skills in line with Trust policies and procedures and NMC Code.
1. Ensures the process of nursing is developed to meet the individual needs of each patient, providing well documented assessment, care planning and evaluation.
2. Responsible for setting, providing, and maintaining high standards of clinically effective nursing care at all times.
3. Always provide leadership and management to the staff team ensuring effective use of human resources on the ward to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
4. Ensure that a child and family-centered approach to care is provided in inpatient areas, which takes account of children’s individual medical, psychological, emotional, and social needs.
