Job summary

Premier Placement Services are recruiting for Experienced Sheet Metal workers for our client based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. The role pays £13.25 per hour with shifts Monday to Thursday 7:15-16:00 and Friday 7:15-13:15, offering a temp-to-perm pathway.

You will debur and finish rough edges, learn to operate hand tools and precision machinery, fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts, and use equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, rollers, plasma cutters and CNC machines while adhering to

Qualifications

• Keen to learn new skills in sheet metal fabrication, assembly and installation.
• Good timekeeping & attendance.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Hard-working and able to meet deadlines.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting.
• Happy to follow all health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Debur / Fettle rough edges off metal.
• Learn to use hand tools and precision machinery.
• Learn to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components to required dimensions.
• Learn to operate equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, rollers, plasma cutters and CNC machines.
• Learn to weld, rivet, solder and fasten sheet metal parts using appropriate techniques.
