Job summary

Qualifications

Are you a Junior Service or Maintenance Technician with an understanding of electrical and mechanical fault-finding looking for expert training on Fanuc Control Systems to become a technical expert in CNC machine repair and maintenance?

Do you want a field-based role working around the UK that offers in-depth training at a state of the art facility in Spain on controls programming, commissioning and more?

In this role you will be working around the UK servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing state-of-the-art CNC Lathes. You will be trained to become fully familiar with complex control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators and fault-finding. The work week is 40 hours, and you'll have time off in leu for any time worked over this. The company supports it's engineers through structured development and yearly appraisals.

This company design and manufacture highly complex CNC machines with over 700 installed across the UK. They pride themselves on their innovation and excellent OEM support which you will be a part of.

This role would suit a Junior Service or Maintenance Technician with an understanding of electrical and mechanical fault-finding looking for a field-based position that offers in-depth training to become a technical expert in complex fanuc controlled CNC machines.

The Role:

• Travelling to customer sites around the UK, within 3 hours of home
• Staying away if required for larger jobs, sometimes 2-3 nights a week
• Funded courses and induction training in Spain
• Opportunities to cover international subsidiaries in Europe and America
• 40 hour work week, door-to-door, with time in leu for excess
• Structured development and salary increases

The Person:

• Maintenance, Service or similar Engineer / Technician
• Mechanical and Electrical understanding (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, HND)
• Full UK Driving License and wiling to work away from home
