Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to train in CNC machinery and develop a long-term career with a leading distributor of Machine Tools. The role involves hands-on field work across a regional patch, with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

You will start with shadowing senior engineers, then perform preventative maintenance on CNC milling machines across multiple sites, often within 2 hours of base, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience / qualifications.
• Willingness to work a field-based role covering a regional patch.
• Willing to undergo training, shadowing and short courses to become a fully qualified engineer.

Responsibilities

• Receive training at head office and shadow experienced engineers.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance on CNC Milling Machines.

Are you from a Maintenance background? On offer is an exciting role offering full training in CNC Machinery to build a long term career within a leading distributor of Machines who offer a range of progression opportunities and multiple bonuses to increase your earnings.

This well-established company are a leading distributor of Machine Tools who have continually grown since their establishment in the 1970s to the point they have a major presence across the UK and Ireland and are now looking to further grow their Servicing team.

This varied role will see you initially training, both through shadowing senior engineers and completing short courses at head office to give you the relevant knowledge and qualifications to become an engineer. After this you will cover a regional patch (primarily within 2, but with further travel and some staying away required) conducting PPM on a range of CNC Milling Machines across various sites as you work mostly autonomously but also with other engineers at times.

This junior role would suit someone from a Maintenance background looking to upskill themselves and work within a field based role where you will work across a regional patch in a leading company offering full training and ongoing progression.

The Role
