Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Junior Service Operations Manager to own and deliver small-scale services under the direction of a senior delivery manager. The role is full time at our Hemel Hempstead offices with occasional travel to customer sites and requires active DV clearance.

You will manage service delivery to SLAs, support transitions, maintain clear service definitions and monitor outcomes for value and continual improvement. ITIL 4 Foundation or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in service management roles accountable for one or more core practices.
• Experience delivering IT services to SLAs.
• IT services background with understanding of service delivery models.
• ITIL 4 Foundation or an equivalent qualification.
• Proactive approach with ownership and accountability for service outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Managing service delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Supporting the transition of new or changed services into live operation.
• Maintaining clear service definitions, including scope and deliverables.
• Monitoring service performance and using data to demonstrate outcomes and value.
