Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer to cover Scotland and the North, with occasional travel into Yorkshire. The role includes full training and a direct position with the manufacturer, offering a 37.5-hour week and overtime with door-to-door travel.

A 1 in 5 on-call rota adds extra payments and variety to the role. Ideal candidates will have mechanical and electrical knowledge, engineering experience, and a full driving license, with flexibility to travel and stay

Junior Field Service Engineer - Training and Progression

Carlisle

£28,000 - £30,000 (£35-40k OTE) + Training + Regular OT x1.5 x2 + Van, door to door, bonus, benefits package

Mon-Thurs 8-5 Fri 8-2 37.5 hour week

Do you have engineering experience and electrical knowledge? Are you looking to join a leading international manufacturing company, offering a tailored, well structured training programme with clear progression to become an expert in your field?

The company are industry leading manufacturers of high quality anti-terrorism and security equipment, rising bollards, road blockers and much more and due to the securing of new contracts, they require an additional service engineer to join the team.

They have delivered some impressive projects worldwide, and have been trusted with some high profile customers including football stadiums, high profile government buildings, palaces, embassies and much more.

The role will offer variety every day with a mix of installations, ppm, reactive maintenance and repairs, covering mechanical, electrical and hydraulic work.

You will be covering Scotland and the north and occasionally into Yorkshire, some overnight stays may be required a few times a month.
