Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is looking for a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our team in the North East region, with ongoing training and clear progression to expert status. You will work on high quality security and anti-terrorism equipment, gaining hands-on experience across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic tasks.

The role covers installations, ppm, reactive maintenance and repairs, with a rota that includes some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical knowledge required.
• Engineering experience in a relevant field preferred.
• Full driving license is essential.

Junior Field Service Engineer - Training and Progression

Newcastle Upon Tyne

£28,000 - £30,000 (£35-40k OTE) + Training + Regular OT x1.5 x2 + Van, door to door, bonus, benefits package

Mon-Thurs 8-5 Fri (phone number removed) hour week

Do you have engineering experience and electrical knowledge? Are you looking to join a leading international manufacturing company, offering a tailored, well structured training programme with clear progression to become an expert in your field?

The company are industry leading manufacturers of high quality anti-terrorism and security equipment, rising bollards, road blockers and much more and due to the securing of new contracts, they require an additional service engineer to join the team.

They have delivered some impressive projects worldwide, and have been trusted with some high profile customers including football stadiums, high profile government buildings, palaces, embassies and much more.

The role will offer variety every day with a mix of installations, ppm, reactive maintenance and repairs, covering mechanical, electrical and hydraulic work.

You will be covering the north east, into Scotland and occasional into Yorkshire, some overnight stays may be required a few times a month.

The Role:

• Field Service engineer - North East of England
• Full training provided
• Working directly for the manufacturer
• 37.5 hour week, then straight to x1.5 + door to door travel
• 1 in 5 call out rota -additional payments

The Candidate:

• Mechanical and Electrical knowledge

• Comfortable with travel and staying away overnight from time to time
