Job summary

Hillary is seeking an organised, proactive SEO Assistant to join our SEO team and support organic growth across our UK and EMEA home interiors brands. Reporting to the SEO Manager, you'll help deliver day-to-day SEO activities and keep websites technically healthy.

This role offers exposure to keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO, website QA, internal linking and performance reporting, with collaboration across Content, Development, Analytics and agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEO, digital marketing or ecommerce is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including on-page optimisation and internal linking.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
• Good analytical skills and comfortable handling data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day SEO activity across UK and EMEA websites, keeping trackers and tasks up to date.
• Conduct keyword, competitor and trend research to identify opportunities across brands and markets.
• Assist on-page optimisation: titles, meta descriptions, headings, content and internal linking.
• Perform technical SEO and website QA checks for issues like broken links, redirects, crawling and indexation.
• Collect and analyse SEO performance data using tools like GSC and GA4, noting trends.
• Support international SEO activity, including localisation checks and market QA.
• Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to implement SEO improvements.
