Walkers in London is seeking an entry-level Security Engineer to join the Information Security Team. The role offers a hybrid work pattern (40% in the office) and a 6-month FTC, helping onboard log sources and support SOC monitoring under guidance.

Ideal candidates have a basic IT/security background, a willingness to learn, and an interest in automation, security testing, or digital forensics. Prior SOC or SIEM experience is helpful but not essential.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of cyber security concepts and IT support.
• Understanding of Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Willingness to learn security tools, controls and processes.
• Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response or vulnerability management.
• Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and ask for guidance.
• Clear written and spoken communication, and simple technical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Onboard new log sources with guidance from the SOC team.
• Improve data quality and detection use cases.
• Contribute to SOC monitoring and incident response activities.
• Support security controls implementation and review for Walkers’ IT environment.
