Job summary

Northampton High School - GDST in Northampton is seeking a permanent, full-time Junior School teacher with a focus on Outdoor Education and Forest School. You will teach a mix of Outdoor Education and general Junior School subjects, and support the school’s pastoral system.

You will work with the Head and SLT to implement GDST policies, upholding the professional standards of Caring, Engaged, Creative and Reflective practice. Experience in Forest School is valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with UK QTS and experience in primary or junior school.
• Experience delivering Outdoor Education and Forest School is desirable.
• Commitment to GDST values and pastoral responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach Outdoor Education and Forest School in the Junior School and some KS3.
• Support the Head and SLT in implementing GDST policy and school aims.
• Contribute to the school’s pastoral system and general teaching duties.
