Description
TEMPORARY Junior Sales Support Executive (Nine months maternity leave cover).
This role supports our Sales Support Team in the sales cycle. They are involved in the whole order processing cycle: from quoting/order placing to invoicing, from a transactional point of view. They will help manage order processing within agreed lead times and by taking a proactive approach to the process.
Key Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all order entry activities for global operations. Activities include, but are not limited to:
o Customer order management and system input
o Obtaining Approvals for order placement, stock, price, and credit release
o Order inquiries and follow-up
o Shipment scheduling and processing
o Customer contact
o Advance payment lines
- Maintaining Customer directories
- Responsible for order date management
- Manage open order reports from the warehouse
- Ensures compliance with JSOX for the sales admin processes
- Any other tasks as required to ensure the effective operation of the role and the whole department
- Attending team meetings and sharing best practices with colleagues
- Frequent interaction with the Commercial Manager and Operations Team to agree on stock allocation and customer orders
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- General level of good education, including Maths and English
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Computer Literacy including Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems would be an advantage
- Willingness and ability to develop and maintain relevant product & software knowledge
- Experience working in a busy office environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and numeric skills
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
