Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior Repair Technician for commercial upholstery in Saffron Walden. You will inspect aviation components, assist with disassembly, repair and reassembly of seating, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

You should have some experience in aviation or automotive upholstery, enjoy training and progression, and work Monday–Friday with overtime where available; a supportive team and clear path to growth are on offer.

Qualifications

• Background in automotive or aviation trimming/upholstery and repair.
• Experience in aviation or automotive upholstery preferred.
• Willingness to learn and progress in a technical repair environment.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and reassembly of cabin seating.
• Keep accurate technical documentation of repairs.

This role would suit a technician with some experience in aviation or automotive upholstery and repair, looking to join an expanding company specialising in engineering and aviation repair.
