Job summary

CSS Recruitment is seeking a Junior Re-manufacturing Technician in Colchester to join their client on a permanent basis. You will de-assemble and re-assemble automotive electronic components, assist with fault finding, and follow SOPs to restore faulty units.

The role offers in-house training, personal development opportunities, a competitive starting salary (£26,000–£27,500 per year), and on-site parking. A positive attitude, reliability, and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous soldering experience highly desirable.
• Strong interests in the Automotive technology sector.
• Previous interests in repair processes.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and instructions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good Communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines.
• Good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

CSS Recruitment are looking for Junior Re-manufacturing Technicians around the Colchester area for one of our clients on a Permanent basis. This will be joining their team to help restore and manufacture faulty automotive electronic components.

Key Responsibilities

• De-assemble products which will need to be cleaned then reassembled the automotive electronics
• Carry out assistance on fault finding and testing of equipment, following standard operating procedures
• Accurately record work completed and updating production systems
