What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a Junior Technical Recruiter to join our team in Kingston upon Hull. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company with core values of Excellence, Accountability, Integrity, and Service.

As a Junior Technical Recruiter, you will support the recruitment team by sourcing, screening, and hiring engineering talents for various roles within Alten. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure an effective recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies by collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements.
  • Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, career fairs, networking events, and employee referrals to source candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
  • Coordinate the interview process involving relevant team members.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and communicating company values and culture.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate strategy effectiveness.

  • Minimum of 1 year recruitment experience, preferably in engineering or technology sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
