Job summary

BetMakers Technology Group in London is seeking a Junior Risk Analyst to profile clients, support the MTS Risk product, and deliver data insights to shape trading strategy. You will analyse trading data to make data-driven recommendations on price competitiveness and pricing strategies, with prior horse racing trading experience preferred but not essential.

The role is based in our Central London office, offering hybrid work with monthly travel to the London Office, and requires flexible hours

As a Junior Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for client profiling, servicing our Managed Trading Service (MTS) Risk product, and providing data insights to help shape our Trading strategy. You will use trading data to provide analytics and insights to make informed, data-driven recommendations and decisions around price competitiveness and pricing strategies. Previous experience in horse racing trading (both local and international) would be preferred but is not essential for the role.

This position is based in our Central London office, offering a hybrid work arrangement that allows you to work from home, with travel required to our London Office two days per month .As a requirement of the role, you will need to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends in accordance with sports and racing events.

Day-to-day:

• Ensuring the Risk Management services provided to our MTS clients is the best in-class service;
• Use trading data to provide analytics and insights to make informed, data-driven recommendations and decisions around price competitiveness and pricing strategies;
• Check and update betting markets;
• Manage the live administration of active markets;
• Provide insights and reporting to key stakeholders to a high quality standard within a timely manner;
• Effectively communicate company and management messages throughout the business;
• Provide strategic suggestions and insights to relevant stakeholders;
• Liaise with external and internal stakeholders as required.
