Opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor - Co. Tyrone

Our Group of Companies, based in Dungannon, includes a Formwork & Concrete Contracting business, a Rental business, and a Manufacturing business. We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and assist senior management on various projects.

Location: Dungannon, with projects across N. Ireland, ROI & Scotland.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts.
2. Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation.
3. Assessing and certifying sub-contractor interim payments.
4. Preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
5. Managing and valuing variations.
6. Assisting in the production of pre-contract take-offs, interim valuations, and final accounts.
7. Tracking design changes as projects progress.
8. Producing monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports.
9. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with subcontractors and site staff.
10. Planning, allocating, and evaluating work for teams and individuals.
11. Attending site meetings as required.
