Harmony Fire, a leading UK life-safety partner, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for the Pre-Construction team in a hybrid role with some home working and offices in London & Somerset. The role focuses on estimating across fire protection systems, compiling tender submissions, and negotiating prices with suppliers while driving timely delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Estimate fire protection systems from CAD drawings or specs.
• Assist in compiling tender submissions to a high standard and on time.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Coordinate workload and deadlines, ensuring colleagues meet programmes.
• Support sales team to maximise efficiency and success.
• Travel to site to carry out surveys as required.
• Develop processes to improve customer experience and department efficiency.
• Communicate with staff, customers and the public via email and phone.

We have an opportunity for an Quantity Surveyor to join our Pre-Construction team, working a mixture between at home, and our London & Somerset offices, due to not currently having an office in Birmingham. This is a role for someone who is commercially sharp, detail-focused, and ready to take ownership of estimating across a wide range of fire protection systems. This is more than just a pricing role. It is about bringing the right energy, accountability and resilience to our mission of saving lives through fire and height safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate different fire protection systems from supplied CAD drawings, specifications or equivalent documentation.
