Job description

I am currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor for work with a UK Construction Contractor based in Ashford/Kent. This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Preparing monthly financial reports for individual projects, including current and forecasted costs, value, and margin for internal use.
2. Ensuring all records and files are up to date and comprehensive.
3. Preparing monthly valuations for projects.
4. Reviewing and preparing payment applications.
5. Some international travel within Europe may be required.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Junior Surveyor, Graduate QS, or similar role.
• Experience with JCT/NEC contracts.
• Previous experience in Construction, Civils, Rail, or related fields.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
