Job summary

Tatton Recruitment is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer for a metal fabrication manufacturer in Greater Manchester. The role supports other Quality Engineers and covers a range of department tasks, with an initial salary of £30k to £32k and a view to progression.

You will be expected to work safely, follow 5S standards and contribute to quality functions from material to finished products, including knowledge of QMS/IMS and basic office administration within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
• Minimum 3 years' work experience required and must be within a manufacturing environment (preferably within a quality team).
• Have an understanding of manufacturing quality functions (product conformance / calibration / specifications)
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles from material to finished products
• An understanding of a QMS / IMS
• Experince within a general office / department administration
• Knowledge of Highly regulated industry high standards of works

Responsibilities

• Support other Quality Engineers with department tasks.
• Maintain documentation and records as part of IMS.

Certain Advantage are working on behalf of a metal fabrication manufacturing company; they have a Full Time opportunity for an entry level Quality Engineer with a view to moving up to a Quality Engineer. For this role, you will be supporting other Quality Engineer's carrying out a range of department tasks
