Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd on behalf of a metal fabrication manufacturer is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer in Greater Manchester. The role offers an entry level opportunity with a view to progressing to a Quality Engineer.

You will support other Quality Engineers and work within the manufacturing environment, ensuring adherence to Quality functions, QMS/IMS, and regulatory high standards. The position includes a salary of £30k–£32k with a probation period of 3 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience required in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing quality functions (conformance / calibration / specifications).
• Familiarity with a QMS / IMS.
• Experience in general office / department administration.

Responsibilities

• Support other Quality Engineers with a range of department tasks.
• Maintain compliance with 5S standards and safety policies.
• Assist in quality activities from material to finished products.

Certain Advantage are working on behalf of a metal fabrication manufacturing company; they have a Full Time opportunity for an entry level Quality Engineer with a view to moving up to a Quality Engineer. For this role, you willbe supporting other Quality Engineer’s carrying out a range of department tasks

The role

• Be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience required and must be within a manufacturing environment (preferably within a quality team)
• Have an understanding of manufacturing quality functions (product conformance / calibration / specifications)

Experience

• Knowladge of manufacturing principles from material to finished products
• An understanding of a QMS / IMS
• Experince within a general office / department administration
• Knowladge of Highly regulated industry high standards of works
