Job summary
Formula 1 is seeking a Junior Software Tester on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our digital teams. You will design and execute tests across web, mobile and Connected TV, supporting UAT and defect resolution with Business Analysts and external partners.
You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the full delivery lifecycle, helping ship reliable experiences to millions of fans worldwide.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of commercial QA/testing experience (web and mobile).
- Solid grounding in the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and defect management.
- Experience with test case management tools like TestMo, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Experience logging defects in Jira.
- Familiarity with TestFlight and Firebase for build distribution.
- Strong communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Test Design & Execution across web, mobile, and Connected TV.
- Requirements Traceability from user stories to release.
- Validate end-to-end user journeys including authentication and payments.
- Manage test cases, runs, and reporting in QA tools.
- Maintain device lab and pre-release build distributions.
- Log defects with clear evidence and assist triage.
- Support UAT and accessibility testing per WCAG.
- Perform live release verification and post-release checks.
- Monitor app performance and raise quality risks.
- Document governance and adhere to security policies.
