Job summary
Formula One is hiring a Junior Software Tester on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Biggin Hill, United Kingdom. You will design and execute tests across web, mobile, and connected TV, coordinate UAT, manage test assets, and help drive quality across F1’s digital products such as F1.com and the official app.
You will work with Business Analysts, Test Managers and external partners, ensuring end-to-end test coverage and contributing to continuous QA improvements in a fast-paced sports tech
Qualifications
- Solid grounding in the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and defect management.
- Experience creating structured test cases and executing them across web and mobile.
- Ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, regression, exploratory and smoke tests across web, mobile, and Connected TV.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage.
- Manage test cases and runs in a test management tool; maintain device lab and pre-release builds.
- Log reproducible defects in Jira with evidence and participate in triage with teams.
- Support UAT and accessibility testing to WCAG standards; assist with release smoke testing.
