Job summary

Formula 1 is seeking a Junior Software Tester for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will help ensure quality across web, mobile, and Connected TV, working with analysts, test managers, and partners to design and execute test cases and manage defects.

You will gain hands‑on exposure to the full delivery lifecycle, supporting UAT, accessibility testing, and live release verification while contributing to ongoing QA improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing test plans across web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to review user stories and acceptance criteria for coverage.
• Familiarity with end-to-end test scenarios including subscription flows.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG basics.
• Experience logging defects with clear repro steps and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke tests across web, mobile, and Connected TV.
• Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage.
• Validate end-to-end flows including authentication, subscriptions, payments, live content delivery, and fan engagement features.
• Manage test cases, runs, and reporting within Testmo or similar tools.
• Maintain device lab and manage pre-release builds using TestFlight and Firebase App Distribution.
• Log defects in Jira with diagnostic evidence and participate in triage with teams and partners.
• Support UAT with stakeholders and conduct accessibility testing.
• Perform live release verification and occasional out-of-hours coverage.
• Monitor app stability and performance, surface risks and drive QA improvements.
• Maintain test documentation and adhere to quality, security, and confidentiality policies.
