HDFT are seeking to recruit a motivated and passionate registered Nurse to be part of the innovative 0-19 Service within the HDFT footprint, based within Gateshead. This post is to work as a Junior Public Health Nurse within the 0-19 Service working predominantly with Children aged 5-19 with additional needs.
We are the largest provider of children’s public health nursing services in the North East of England, offering services from North Yorkshire up to Gateshead and Sunderland.
We are dedicated to improving public health outcomes for children and families in our area, delivering high-quality universal and targeted health visiting and school health services to meet key population priorities.
The post holder will work as part of children’s community health commissioned services supporting the SCPHN (Health Visitor/School Nurse), contributing to high-quality services for children, young people, parents, carers, and families, within the framework of the Healthy Child Programme and the Best Start In Life priorities. The role involves proactively delivering national and public health agendas in response to identified health and social needs, working in partnership with other agencies to meet standards, objectives, and statutory requirements.
