Job summary

IMI plc is seeking a Project Manager to produce plans, monitor schedules and control costs for contracts/orders. You will act as the customer interface, provide regular status updates and escalate issues to keep projects on track.

The role focuses on ensuring margins are maintained, coordinating with engineering teams, and using ERP to track costs and progress while traveling as needed to satisfy delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HNC/bachelor's degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
• Some experience in Project Management, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding and Documentation Skills.
• Experience evaluating estimates, proposals, bids or tenders.
• Excellent time management and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain project plans for contracts/orders.
• Act as customer interface delivering regular status reports.
• Manage and resolve technical enquiries with engineering support.
• Escalate issues to ensure on-time delivery and budget control.
• Maintain project margins and cost tracking via ERP.
• Lead project meetings and capture action items.
• Communicate weekly project status to area leaders.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet delivery schedules.
