Job Description

An experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in structural steel, steel structures, or structural engineering is required to join a reputable, growing structural company. The company works on various projects, including structural buildings & cladding, rail, construction, MOD, utilities, and nuclear sectors.

The Project Manager will oversee multiple complex projects through all stages of the project life cycle, from planning to delivery. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus under pressure, and strong leadership skills.

As a key team member, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Excellent communication, time management skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP42,000 depending on experience

Location: Office-based, Monday to Friday

Candidate Requirements

• Academic qualification in Project Management is preferred but not essential
• Proven experience in structural steel, steel structures, or structural engineering
• Experience managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning to set goals, timelines, tasks, and resource allocation
• Manage internal and external teams and sub-contractors
