Job Description

Taylor Hopkinson is proudly retained to search for a Junior Project Manager to join our client and assist with the delivery of large-scale BESS projects.

We are preferably looking for candidates with experience in BESS, Solar, or large-scale infrastructure construction projects.

The role involves reporting to and assisting Senior Project Managers, with the ability to work and travel throughout the UK.

Role

• Provide project management support for utility-scale BESS projects from initiation to completion.
• Contribute to stakeholder management, including project reporting.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Help prepare project documentation such as meeting minutes, presentations, and reports.
• Coordinate site activities for construction, installation, and commissioning of BESS systems.
• Collect and analyze project data, including financial information and metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve project and process efficiency.

Requirements

• University Degree in Renewables, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Battery Energy Storage systems and renewable energy technologies.
• Enjoy working in a small but effective team.
• Demonstrable presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the London office at least 3 days a week.
• UK Drivers license.
