We’re growing fast and looking for a talented Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our UK-based team. You’ll lead the delivery of innovative solar PV and battery storage (BESS) projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to bring complex renewable systems to life.

You’ll be based in the UK, with travel as needed to project sites across the country. Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial-scale solar and BESS projects from early-stage development through to commissioning
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations
• Coordinate grid connection processes, including G99 applications and compliance
• Oversee technical specifications, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and communities
• Monitor project quality, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Communicate clearly and regularly with all project stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience managing renewable energy projects, ideally including both solar PV and BESS
• Strong project management skills – from planning to execution and reporting
• Understanding of grid connection processes and technical systems (e.g., PVsyst, G99)
• Familiarity with construction contracts and contractor management (e.g., EPC, FIDIC, NEC)
• Ability to manage CAPEX budgets and project financials
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

What might help you succeed in this role

There are many paths to being a great project manager. You might bring some of the following experience or be keen to develop in these areas:

• Engineering or project management degree
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
• SMSTS, CSCS, or First Aid certification
• Experience working with DNOs or understanding CDM regulations
• Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes
