Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Graduate or Junior Project Manager to join our Aerospace and Marine divisions in the UK. Based in Glasgow, Derby or Bristol, you will contribute to technically challenging engineering projects and support multidisciplinary teams to keep delivery on time, budget and quality.

From bid phase through delivery, you will handle planning, stakeholder engagement and reporting, with hybrid working and ongoing training to develop your project management career.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within an engineering environment or University.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
• Strong planning, cost control and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering projects and work packages.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Monitor KPIs, risks, opportunities and project performance.
• Manage change control and stakeholder engagement.

Junior Project Manager

Aerospace & Marine Engineering | Glasgow, Bristol or Derby | Hybrid Working

Ready to take the next step in your project management career?

Belcan is looking for a Graduate or Junior Project Manager to join our Aerospace and Marine divisions. Where you will be involved with the delivery of technically challenging engineering projects, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The Junior Project Manager will be involved in multiple projects in commercial and defence sectors dealing with a variety of stakeholders, you will play a key role from bid phase through to successful delivery.

This Junior Project Manager role can be based from either our Glasgow, Derby or Bristol offices and would become Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering projects and work packages.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Monitor KPIs, risks, opportunities and project performance.
• Manage change control and stakeholder engagement.
• Produce internal and customer project reports.
• Support continuous improvement across project management processes and tools.

About You

• Proven project management experience within an engineering environment or University.

• Some experience of using MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar tools.
• Detail and process driven
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
