Our Business and Transformation Change division continues to grow, and we are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team, supporting business growth and project management demands. This position is suitable for someone with prior experience managing small to medium projects from inception to delivery, under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager.

The Team

This role is within the Business Transformation & Change team, which comprises specialists supporting project management across the XPS Group. Our team is spread across various offices nationwide.

The Role

As a Junior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering the agreed project scope
  • Setting up and maintaining project documentation (PID, Plan, RAID Log, etc.)
  • Leading and participating in internal and external meetings
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, clients, and third parties
  • Ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met
  • Tracking and managing project fees
  • Managing projects related to new business activities
  • Providing project management support for various client projects, such as GMP projects, buy-ins/outs, investment changes, and digital initiatives
  • Managing business change projects and system development/enhancement projects, liaising with IT and third-party developers
Your Profile

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience managing projects from concept to implementation, preferably in a similar industry
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the pensions industry is an advantage
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous
  • Proactive attitude
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project is desirable
  • Attention to detail in project documentation
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering quality service
