Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Junior Project Manager in Chelmsford for a permanent role with hybrid working. You will be mentored by an experienced PM and gain a clear route to progression, with APM training and mentoring provided.

The role involves supporting project delivery across surveying/pre-construction, coordinating briefs and risk assessments, liaising with clients, and assisting with schedule and resource planning. Occasional site travel may be required.

Junior Project Manager

Chelmsford, Essex (Commutable from: Billericay, Brentwood, Basildon, Witham, Braintree, Southend-on-Sea, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford)

Are you a Junior Project Manager, Project Coordinator or Project Administrator looking to step into a role where you will be mentored directly by an experienced PM and given a clear route to progress? Do you want structured development (including APM support) in a friendly, young and dynamic team environment?

On offer is a permanent position with a well-established specialist business working across the surveying / pre-construction space, supporting projects across multiple sectors including construction, power, water and aviation. You will be looked after with hands-on guidance, a flexible working approach and a role designed for someone who wants to develop quickly.

As a result of continued growth and ongoing project demand, they are now looking to add a Junior Project Manager to support the team and develop into a key member of the business long term.

In this role you will work closely with the Project Manager to plan and coordinate projects from brief through to delivery. You'll liaise with clients, support programme and resource planning, create briefs and risk assessments, brief site teams when required, and contribute to project reviews and lessons learned. Site travel is very occasional and a driving licence is not required.

This role would suit a Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator from a project coordination or administration background, looking for structured training, real responsibility, and genuine progression opportunities.
