Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon is seeking a Junior Project Engineer (Automation) to support the specification, design and development of control systems in a fast-paced engineering team. The role focuses on ensuring automation runs safely and efficiently in a pharmaceutical context, with opportunities to work across installation, testing and commissioning activities.

The successful candidate will have an HND in engineering, UK work eligibility, and hands-on placement experience in an engineering

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK or hold a valid UK work permit.
• Minimum HND level in an engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering results and projects in industry.
• Placement experience in an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support specification, design, and development of control systems.
• Assist installation, testing and commissioning of automation systems.
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and safely and comply with cGXP.
• Collaborate with the Central Services Engineering team.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Engineer (Automation) to join our busy Engineering team in Central Services. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the specification, design, development, installation, testing and administration of control systems to the highest industrial and pharmaceutical standard. The focus of the work will be to ensure that automation systems operate efficiently and safely, and in compliance with cGXP regulation.

What we are looking for

• Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up permanent employment in the UK
• Minimum HND Level in Engineering discipline
• Experience in delivering excellent results and projects in industry
• Previous Experience in placement working in an Engineering discipline
