Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Project Engineer (Automation) to join our Craigavon site. You will specify, design, develop, install, test and administer control systems to high industrial and pharmaceutical standards, ensuring automation runs safely and in compliance with cGXP.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering or automation professional to contribute across varied automation projects within a pharmaceutical environment, in a fast-paced, regulated setting.

Qualifications

• HND (or equivalent) in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in delivering results on automation projects in pharma/manufacturing.
• Experience with specification, design, installation and commissioning of automation systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS).

Responsibilities

• Specification, design, development, installation and testing of control systems.
• Administration of automation systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Maintain compliance with cGXP requirements across projects.

The Opportunity

Almac Group is currently seeking a Project Engineer (Automation) to join our team based at our Craigavon site.

In this role, you will be responsible for the specification, design, development, installation, testing and administration of control systems to a high industrial and pharmaceutical standard. You will play an important role in ensuring automation systems operate efficiently and safely while maintaining compliance with cGXP requirements.

What you need to be successful

• Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK.
• HND (or equivalent) in Engineering discipline
• Experience in delivering excellent results and projects in the pharmaceutical industry or other manufacturing environment OR Experience of providing support, maintenance, or system administration for existing automation systems
• Experience of specification, design, installation, commissioning of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS etc)
