Junior Project Engineer

Macclesfield (Hybrid Work Opportunities After Probation)

Circa £35,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Death in Service (3x Salary) + Private Health Insurance + Bonus Scheme

Monday to Thursday, 8.30 or 9.30am to 4.30 or 5.30pm, Friday early finish of 3.30 or 4.30pm (dependant on start time)

Project Engineer required for a world leading supplier of process equipment used within a variety of industries including water, oil and gas, food and pharmaceutical.

This is a great opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth due to the success of their products. You will be joining a friendly team, where two days are never the same.

The successful candidate will need experience working on engineering projects. Candidates from any industry are encouraged to apply and you will need 3D CAD experience, working with SolidWorks or a similar software.

The Junior Project Engineer Role:

1. Overseeing anywhere from 5 to 20 projects at a time
2. Oversee production of 3D models and 2D drawings of equipment with internal draughting team
3. Liaise with sale team to solve any issues or amendments
4. Provide general arrangements drawings for client approval
5. Creation of engineering documentation
6. Receiving of quotes from manufacturers / materials etc.
7. Arrange and attend third party inspections
8. Hybrid – Opportunities to work 2 days per week from home after probation

The Junior Project Engineer Candidate:

1. Experience working on engineering projects
2. Any industry background
3. 3D CAD experience
