Job summary

Kingfisher, a leader in home improvement, seeks a Junior Product Lead to drive innovation in Own Exclusive Brands (OEB). You will develop a competitive OEB range across sinks, taps, and appliances, led by insights and cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll manage projects from concept to delivery, identify NPD opportunities, and influence commercial performance with banners, data insights, and customer understanding. Hybrid working balances home and office collaboration.

• Use insight to create and maintain an exciting Category OEB range
• Understand additions to the Banners ask to maximize OEB range
• Maintain full visibility of Opco’s ranges for insights
• Project manage all selected OEB projects/ranges from concept through to delivery
• Lead a cross functional expert team across OEB range development and validation
• Identify NPD opportunities and provide criteria, sales data, briefs, and validation
• Identify commercial potential by analysing data for trends
• Identify requirements for OEB projects using category direction and insights
• Responsible for sales and margin of OEB products within range
• Review performance and manage remedial actions with Banners to support range performance

As a Junior Product Lead you will be responsible for developing innovation in OEB (Own Exclusive Brands),to be more agile in new product development and be more impactful on performance working across our sink, taps and appliances categories.

What’s the job?

• Use insight to create and maintain an exciting and competitive Category OEB range


• Understand the potential additions to the Banners ‘ask’, to take the OEB range to the full potential


• Have full visibility of Opco’s full ranges for insight purposes


• Project manage all selected OEB projects/ranges from concept through to delivery


• Lead a cross functional expert team (designers, engineers, quality, brand, packaging etc.) across OEB Range development and validation


• Leads on Identifying NPD, input into eligibility criteria, Selling data, Comms brief and Product Validation


• Identify commercial potential for my OEB range by analysing relevant data for trends and insights


• Identify requirements for OEB product development projects by using the Business/ Banners Category direction and all the customer insights gained.


• Shared Responsible for the sales and margin performance of the OEB products within range


• Own ongoing performance review of OEB products and manage remedial actions with Banners to support overall range performance
