Job summary

Kingfisher seeks a Junior Product Lead to drive innovation in Own Exclusive Brands (OEB) and accelerate new product development across sink, taps and appliances. You will manage concepts to delivery and lead a cross-functional team to maximize range performance.

You will use insights to shape competitive OEB ranges, oversee visibility of Opco ranges, and coordinate with stakeholders to assess commercial potential and drive margin impact.

Qualifications

• Understanding of commercial insights to shape ranges.
• Ability to build and execute OEB strategy.
• Experience in planning and delivering OEB ranges.
• Knowledge of consumer trends in home improvement.
• Experience with NPD and cross-functional teams.

As a Junior Product Lead you will be responsible for developing innovation in OEB (Own Exclusive Brands),to be more agile in new product development and be more impactful on performance working across our sink, taps and appliances categories.

What's the job?

• Use insight to create and maintain an exciting and competitive Category OEB range
• Understand the potential additions to the Banners 'ask', to take the OEB range to the full potential
• Have full visibility of Opco’s full ranges for insight purposes
• Project manage all selected OEB projects/ranges from concept through to delivery
• Lead a cross functional expert team (designers, engineers, quality, brand, packaging etc.) across OEB Range development and validation
• Leads on Identifying NPD, input into eligibility criteria, Selling data, Comms brief and Product Validation
• Identify commercial potential for my OEB range by analysing relevant data for trends and insights
• Identify requirements for OEB product development projects by using the Business/ Banners Category direction and all the customer insights gained.
• Shared Responsible for the sales and margin performance of the OEB products within range
• Own ongoing performance review of OEB products and manage remedial actions with Banners to support overall range performance
