Kickstart your career as a Junior Plant Technician at T H White Construction in Stourport.

If you have practical mechanical experience with construction plant, agricultural machinery, forklifts HGV’s or vehicle maintenance, this is your chance to join a supportive workshop team. Full training and manufacturer support is provided, with a pathway to becoming a fully qualified Service Technician.

We’re offering a rare opportunity to join our Stourport team as aService Technician Improver. It’s a practical, workshop-based role that suits anyone with hands-on mechanical experience who’s ready to step up and build a proper long-term career.

Hours:

39 hours a week, Mon- Thurs 08:00-17:00 Fri – 08:00-16:00.

Additional overtime (paid a time and a half) is available earlier and later should you wish to earn more.

Key Duties will Include:

You’ll be working in our busy, well-equipped Stourport workshop.

Initially you’ll be supporting our technicians and carrying out PDI’s, (Pre Delivery Inspections), but in time you’ll gradually take on more technical responsibility – becoming fully qualified and undertaking full service and repair work to all the equipment that we sell both in our workshop and out on our customer sites.

Requirements:

• A strong interest in engineering and construction plant
• Mechanical knowledge (basic service or maintenance experience) gained form similar machines or transferable mechanical equipment
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
• A full UK driving licence
